Hello Friends,
My name is Latrivia Nelson. Welcome to my official site, a place to share all
of the wonderful things happening with Ivy’s Twisted Vine, my first novel.
This book took six long years to write, but alas it has been published and
will be on bookshelves all across America in February 2008!
Many of you have given me wonderful feedback on the concept behind
Ivy’s Twisted Vine. And I’m sure that you will be pleased to see how your
feedback was utilized in ensuring that the readers enjoy their first
experience with Ivy, Grey and Nicola. For those of you who have no idea
what treasures this book holds, I can promise you pages of delightful
entertainment.
Ivy’s Twisted Vine is an unconventional look at modern relationships
between young men and women. Although based in Memphis, TN, the
scenarios can be easily adapted and identified with in any city in America.
Many people have expressed concern with some of the issues that I have
chosen to address such as: interracial dating, promiscuity, unplanned
pregnancies, politics, higher education, career ambitions and safe sex
practices. Clearly these are very familiar topics for young adults living in the
21st century. I am simply creating another platform for discussion and
welcome your continued input.
